Detailed information

Product detailed description

Valpolicella by Tenute Falezza is a young, light-bodied and fresh red wine built around juicy fruit, purity and easy elegance. The grapes are harvested by hand in September and naturally dried for 20 days in the drying facility. They are then de-stemmed, softly pressed and fermented for 20 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine ages for 5 months in stainless steel, preserving its freshness, clarity and vibrant character.

In the glass, it shows a bright ruby-red colour. The bouquet is clean and expressive, with notes of red fruits such as raspberry and cherry, followed by floral aromas and a slight spicy nuance. On the palate, it is dry, full-flavoured and fresh, with soft tannins and a very appetizing finish.

The blend consists of Corvina 50%, Corvinone 20%, Rondinella 20% and Oseleta 10%. The vineyards grow on clay-limestone soils of alluvial origin at an altitude of 150–300 metres above sea level, trained with the traditional Pergola Veronese system.

With its freshness and approachable structure, this Valpolicella is excellent as an aperitif. It pairs beautifully with Italian appetizers, fresh cheese, white meat, boiled meat and lighter all-course meals. Best enjoyed young, when its fruit-driven and vibrant character is at its best.
