Zanotelli
Zanotelli is a family farm that has been operating since 1860 on the impervious slopes of the Cembra Valley, where more than seven hundred kilometers of dry stone walls now support about 700 hectares of vineyards. Agriculture as a picture of the terraced mountain area, where the Zanotelli cousins sustainably cultivate approximately 15 hectares of land at an altitude of 400 to 900 meters. The Zanotelli family historically produced Vernatsch wine, a red variety grown in abundance throughout the Cembra Valley since the Napoleonic era. Over time, the newly acquired skills allowed us to discover the great mission that this territory could express for the more "modern" vine, especially white grapes, thanks to the strong temperature differences between day and night, the excellent south-eastern exposure of the slopes and the porphyry terroir, which reflects the great aromaticity and fragrance of the wine. Today, the range consists mainly of white mountain wines: Müller Thurgau, Gewürz, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Kerner, Riesling, Manzoni Bianco. There are also red grape gems Vernatsch, Pinot Noir and Lagrein. The range is completed by three sparkling wines Trentodoc made using the classic method, Nature, Brut and Rosè Forneri and Passito made from white grapes.
