At a time when anyone who had a dream could make theirs come true, Alice Prada decided to give life to her own dream: to produce for the city of Trento the Hearts that she had made at home for her family.

1921
Together with her husband Cesare, Alice turned her dream into reality. In the heart of Trento, on Via Dordi, where the family owned a renowned confectionery and chocolate shop, the first biscuit factory in Trentino was born.

1922
It was here, amidst the aroma of sugar and cocoa, in this historic family shop, that Cesare and Alice laid the foundations of their future. A place that smells of tradition and passion and is ready to welcome the innovations of a top laboratory.

1924
The Prada heart is liked. The second store is opened on Via Oss Mazzurana. Cesare delivers hearts throughout Trentino with a FIAT Balilla.

1943
Trento is bombed from the sky for the first time. Even dreams must reckon with reality. Production is suspended.

1946
End of the war. Everything is lost. But not the dream. The activity is resumed where the Hearts were born: at home, in Alice's kitchen. César begins delivering Hearts again. Now on an ordinary bicycle.

1963
The development is supported by the second generation. His sons Claudio and Luciano join the company. The economic boom also comes to Trentino. Hearts Prada enters the fledgling supermarkets.

1969
The packaging of Hearts changes. They are no longer tins, but practical bags, which two years later become the iconic red bag that still exists today.

1970
A new oven is introduced, designed to enhance the typical homemade taste of Hearts cheese by slow baking.

1983
Sales grow, the need for production grows. Opening of the current plant in Via di Lamar.

2004
The third generation enters: cousins Enrico and Stefano.

2006
Enrico's creativity gives rise to new product lines and 16 variations of the original Cuori di nonna Alice.

2007
For the new product lines, Stefano gives the impetus to introduce a sales system focused on both services and products. Prada hearts are coming to Denmark.

TODAY
We continue to be inspired by the core values of Alice and Cesare. We want to continue their dream. To continue to be a mirror and reflection of our Trentino.
