"li biscutte tajate a mano". The recipe for our cantuccio faithfully follows the traditional Abruzzese recipe of our grandmothers and preserves the same taste that we cherish in our memories. Abruzzo is a region that will remain in your heart! Lush hills overlooking the Gran Sasso to the west and the Adriatic Sea further east, fertile, rich and generous soil and a mild climate: strong and delicate Abruzzo, the "green heart of Europe"! In this region, nature has been combined with cultural heritage for centuries in perfect alchemy: in this region there are ancient villages, abbeys, rock churches, hermitages hidden amidst the stunning mountain views of the Gran Sasso National Park, magical places such as castles that rise in all their fascinating elegance in the middle of nature, rich in forests and pastures, interrupted by mountain massifs, extraordinary rock faces and clear streams that cut through gentle hills covered with olive groves and vineyards and finally plunge into the Adriatic Sea. An immense heritage that is made up of typical food and wine and folklore, artistic craftsmen, tenacious farmers and courageous entrepreneurs, men and women whom nature has rewarded with its fruits and provided them with high-quality raw materials for centuries. It is here that many world-famous excellent wines and dishes are born.

And it is in this region, where the water and air are fresh and clean and nature is still unspoiled, in the "green heart of Europe", that the Falcone company was founded in 1997, establishing itself in the confectionery sector and, over the years, has established itself through quality, respect for tradition and innovation. Passion and synergy, entrepreneurial spirit and creativity are the qualities shared by the three brothers who founded the company, Franco, Carlandrea and Rodolfo Falcone, and which have become the trademark of the entire Falcone family over the years. The FALCONE logo, which visually combines fidelity to the traditions of Abruzzo and the solidity of a family business that has been dedicated for two generations to the production of original products without the use of dyes and hydrogenated fats, in the constant search and selection of quality ingredients in the territory, natural ingredients to create confectionery specialties with a homemade and original taste.

In 1997, the "Il Piacere" cake was born, a soft cake filled with hazelnut cream, which, in its name and taste, recalls the novel by Gabriele D'Annunzia, and thus opened the path of confectionery successes, each of which was the result of a return to old recipes in a constant search for innovation and respect for traditional flavors and quality. The following years are marked by constant growth, when not only "Il Piacere" is produced, but also the "Cantucci d'Abruzzo" line, dry almond biscuits - the so-called "biscutt tajate a man" - which are more fragile than the classic ones, the first cantucci, which were designed on the way to the recognition of the Abruzzo cantucci; Then came the "Amaretti morbidi" line (soft macaroons), "Cuor di Crostata" (cookie hearts), "Muffin" (muffins) and finally "Cookies", which fully represent the innovative spirit of this company from Abruzzo: the first Italian company to produce them according to the American model, but with an Italian philosophy: a revised recipe that preserves the taste and aroma of American cookies, but is made with less fat, reshaped in a healthier, typically Italian style. Knowing how to make the most of the land and nature, Dolciaria Falcone has grown in less than two decades to include a plant in Moscufo, in the province of Pescara, reaching a total production area of ​​13,000 square meters, of which 6,000 square meters are covered: 4,000 square meters dedicated exclusively to production on three production lines and 2,000 square meters reserved for logistics. Today, around 50 employees and external collaborators work in these spaces, from where they produce and distribute confectionery specialties daily throughout Italy and export them to over 50 countries around the world, from the American market to Canada, Europe and Japan.
