Biscardo
At the end of the 19th century, the Biscardo family had interests in both the textile sector and winemaking, and grandmother Teresa managed the "Tre Corone" hotel in Posta. The winery, founded in 1878 as Verona wine merchants, developed in the early decades of the 20th century thanks to the efforts of Terenzio Biscardo. In the 1930s and 1940s, the company expanded into the Italian market as one of the first in the bottled catering wine sector. In recent years, the first exports also began to Switzerland, England, and Germany. In the 1950s, thanks to the work of his son Luigi in industrial activity, Biscardo became one of the most important companies in the region with leading investments in winemaking and bottling.
